This past week we lost Arnold Scaasi, the illustrious designer behind some of fashion history's most provocative and regal American looks. Scaasi dressed everyone from the red carpet to the White House, and his eye for opulent materials, volume and embellishments remained his signature from the mid-1960s through the 1990s. Wearers of Scaasi's fashions such as Barbra Streisand were able to captivate audiences with ensembles that flirted with scandal whilst upholding couture quality.
We've pulled together some looks that we love from Mr. Scaasi, drawing inspiration from his skill to thrill!
